Medically Supervised Weight Loss

.. Lose weight and keep it off with our scientifically designed
and medically supervised weight loss program. This is a comprehensive,
customized (individualized) program under the direct supervision of
Judi Goldstone , MD. Dr. Goldstone is a board certified internal
medicine physician and specialty trained in bariatric medicine
(medical weight loss physician) and hormone balancing.

-Initial Appointment

Our program begins with a 1 hour face to face consult with our weight loss physician. At that time, she will perform an in depth medical history and physical exam. She will also review and explain your lab results to you. After ascertaining your needs and physical status the physician will design a complete program emphasizing a lifestyle, not just a quick fix (fad) diet. The program generally includes a customized diet, exercise, behavior modification, stress management techniques and neutraceutical supplementation. If medication to control appetite is warranted, the doctor may prescribe that as well.

This is a comprehensive ten (10) week program The program cost of $878.00 dollars, includes your initial lab tests. These tests include screening for metabolic syndrome, diabetes, heart, kidney and liver disease,
cholesterol, lipids and blood count. In addition the physician tests all the major hormones including cortisol which tends to be unbalanced in people with difficulty losing weight and maintaining weight loss. The program fees includes the initial visit and the nine consecutive weekly visits. The program fee is due at the time of your initial lab draw. Prescribed pharmaceutical supplements are not included in the program fee. This program is a cash program, we do not accept any forms of insurance for our weight loss program.

-Follow Up Appointments

You will be required to come in one day a week for nine (9) additional consecutive weeks. During your follow up appointment you will meet with the physician who will evaluate your progress and make adjustments as necessary. You will also be weighed, have your vitals taken, given your weekly Cyanocobolamine injection.

-Lab Work

You will come to our office and have your labs drawn and collect paperwork to be completed for review during your initial appointment.

-MIC Injections:

Consists of

• Methionine 25mg
• Inositol 100mg
• Choline 50mg
• Methylcobolamine 300mcg

The Methionine is an amino acid that asssists in fat transport allowing the fat to be more readily burned as energy.
The Inositol is in the B vitamin family also assisting in transporting fat through a seperate mechanism.
The Choline increases sugar metabolism and balances insulin levels which blunts the storage of body fat.

Mic Injections are used to assist in weight loss and are specifically effective in conjunction with the Medically Supervised Weight Loss program listed above. MIC Injections are typically given once a week for a period of ten weeks.
